This variation of the Panama-style hat is made of "toyo paper" – a textile paper produced in Japan from rice paper. After processing, the paper is twisted into strong, flexible strips suitable for weaving. The result is a high-quality material that is extremely light and comfortable to wear.
The manufacturing process is handmade and time-consuming, which, combined with the quality material, determines the higher price of this model. The weave is fine and even, with a smooth surface and tight structure. The color is subtle in the natural range of the paper. The result is a hat that is lightweight, breathable, and suitable for warm weather, while maintaining shape and comfort during wear. The hat is made in Italy.
Care and maintenance
The material is durable and flexible but should not get wet. If it contacts water, allow the hat to dry naturally without heat treatment. For cleaning, use a dry or slightly damp cloth without rubbing. It is recommended to store in a dry place.
